GRUBZ 2X house rules

Six of them, the same on PS5 and Xbox. They exist so a Rust Console server stays playable at 100 players, not to make a point. Admins enforce all of them the same way whether you have bought anything or not.

  1. Teams cap at 4

    Four players in a base, four on a raid, four in a group anywhere on the map. Building and turret authorisation is limited to 4 so the game enforces it for you. Rotating a fifth player in and out still counts.

  2. No cheating, no exploits

    Aim assist scripts, macros, modded controllers, network manipulation and any bug that lets you through a wall all get the same answer: permanent ban, no appeal. If you find an exploit, report it and we will credit you.

  3. Keep monuments open

    Do not wall off recyclers, crates, puzzle rooms or the road into a monument. Building near one is fine. Owning one is not. Admins will remove blocking structures without warning.

  4. No slurs, no harassment

    Trash talk is part of Rust. Racism, homophobia, transphobia and real-life threats are not. This applies in game chat, voice, and the Discord. First offence is a mute, second is a ban.

  5. Do not grief the map

    No spam foundations across the terrain, no walling off spawn beaches, no building inside another group’s base to trap them. Raid them properly instead.

  6. Report players in Discord, not in chat

    Open a ticket with the player name, the time, and a clip if you have one. Arguing with a suspected cheater in global chat helps nobody and usually gets you both muted.

Banned and think it was wrong? Open a ticket in the Discord and an admin will pull the logs. Join the Discord

Commands

Quick chats work from any chat channel in game. The two slash commands are in Discord.

“I need Wood”
The free kit — 14 items, once every 2 hours. No role, no purchase, everybody has it.
“I need Stones”
Pulls your Grub VIP kit — 18 items, once every 3 hours. Needs the Grub VIP role.
“I need Metal Fragments”
Pulls your Swarm VIP kit — 20 items, once every 4 hours. Needs the Swarm VIP role.
“I need High Quality Metal”
Pulls your Hive Lord VIP kit — 24 items, once every 6 hours. Needs the Hive Lord VIP role.
“I need Water”
Calls sunrise. Sets the server to morning, and anyone can use it — once every 90 minutes, for everybody. Daylight is not something we sell.

Bought a one-off kit, resource pack or ride? Those are the only things that need a command in Discord to deliver, and the two steps are on the store page. VIP does not — your role arrives with the payment and the kit comes off a quick chat, same as everyone else’s.
