Privacy, terms and refunds
What GRUBZ 2X stores about you, what you are actually buying, and how to get your money back. Last updated September 2026.

The three things most likely to catch someone out, said plainly.
Wipes delete what you bought
The map wipes twice a month. Items delivered to your inventory — kits, resources, rides — are gone with it, the same as everything you gathered yourself. That is how Rust works and it is not a fault. VIP is different: it is a role, so it survives wipes and keeps giving you a kit each cycle.
VIP renews every month until you stop it
VIP tiers are subscriptions. They charge monthly until cancelled, and you cancel through the same checkout you bought them on. Cancel before the renewal date and you keep the role until the month you paid for runs out.
You have to be in game to receive items
Items sent to an offline player are destroyed by the game, so delivery refuses rather than losing your order. Your order waits until you run /claim while spawned in. Nothing expires.
What we store
Very little, and none of it is payment information.
- Your Discord account
- Your Discord user ID and username, because that is how a purchase is matched to a person and how roles are granted.
- Your gamertag
- The Gamertag or PSN name you give when you run /link, because delivery has to know which player in game is you.
- Your orders
- What you bought and when, held by Tip4Serv, our store provider. We use it to deliver the order and to answer questions about it later.
- Server logs
- The game server records connections and admin actions, the same as any Rust server. We read them to fix problems and to catch cheating. They roll over automatically.
- Card details — never
- Payments run through Tip4Serv and Stripe. Card numbers never reach us and we could not see them if we wanted to.
We do not sell any of it, and we do not share it with anyone except the providers that make the store work — Discord, Tip4Serv and Stripe. Want your data removed? Open a ticket and we will delete your link record and order history. Note that a deleted order record cannot be refunded afterwards, because there is nothing left to check.
Refunds
The short version: if it did not arrive, you get your money back.
- It never arrived
- Full refund, no argument. Open a ticket with your order number. This is the case we care most about getting right.
- It arrived and you changed your mind
- Ask within 14 days and we will refund it if the items have not been used. Once a kit has been claimed and spent, we cannot un-spend it.
- A subscription you forgot to cancel
- Ask within 14 days of the charge and we will refund that month and cancel it. Once.
- You were banned
- No refund. Bans are for cheating, and cheating is the one thing that costs everyone else the server.
- The server shuts down
- Anyone with an active subscription is refunded for the unused part of the month. One-off purchases are not refunded retroactively.
Please open a ticket before starting a chargeback. A chargeback costs us a fee on top of the refund and gets the account blocked automatically, which helps nobody when we would simply have refunded you.
Terms
- What you are buying
- Access to in-game items and roles on this server. Not property, not an asset, and not transferable to another server or account.
- The server is not guaranteed to exist forever
- It is a community server run by people with jobs. We will give notice in Discord if that ever changes, and honour the refund rule above.
- Rules apply to paying players too
- Buying something does not buy leniency. The house rules apply to everyone, and cheating is a permanent ban whatever you have spent.
- Prices and contents can change
- What is in a package can change between wipes as balance changes. You get what was listed at the time you bought it.
- Not affiliated with Facepunch or Double Eleven
- GRUBZ 2X is a community-run server. Rust is their game; we just rent a box and set the rules.
Getting hold of us
A ticket in #open-a-ticket on our Discord. That is the fastest route and it is the only one we monitor properly — a ticket goes to every admin at once.
